This course aims to provide a fresh perspective and deeper understanding of film appreciation, with a special focus on the intersection of art and culture. Each lecture will present films and documentaries that highlight diverse artists and their works, exploring their historical and cultural contexts. In addition, the course features a diverse range of artists from different eras, including Renoir, Van Gogh, Klimt, Picasso, Andy Warhol, and Jackson Pollock, and explores their biographies and artistic visions through a selection of films that delve into the fusion of art and fashion.
