ABOUT US
재단소개

Kukje Art and Culture Foundation (KACF) is a non-profit organization that fosters global cultural exchange through diverse artistic programs and projects, while supporting artists and cultural institutions worldwide. Founded in 2020 by Hyun-Sook Lee, chairwoman of Kukje Gallery, KACF is dedicated to uplifting Korean art and strengthening its presence and reputation in the international art scene.
To achieve its goals, KACF contributes to the acquisition of Korean artworks by major art institutions worldwide, including the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), and the Centre Pompidou in Paris—strengthening global understanding and appreciation of Korean art. Additionally, the foundation actively supports exhibitions by artists working across the globe, aiming to provide platforms for vibrant international artistic exchange. KACF plans to expand its support through scholarships, educational initiatives, and creative residency programs, thereby laying the groundwork for sustainable cultural exchange and furthering its commitment to the arts.
